Yesterday evening I received a photo request from Delta Magazine  who is planning a feature on Dr. Endesha Ida Mae Holland. I had the very good fortune to meet her while on assignment for the Los Angeles Times, inner city edition, the City Times. Dr. Holland a former professor at USC, civil rights advocate, scholar, and playwright.  A member of SNCC,  among her many accomplishments, Dr. Holland was featured in the 1994 documentary Freedom On My Mind .
